Role Overview

A local business in Tregynon is looking for an experienced Fabricator / Welder to join its skilled team. The business operates from a large steel fabrication facility, producing bespoke steelwork and fabrications for domestic, commercial, industrial and agricultural customers. The successful candidate will work on a varied range of projects, from one-off fabrications to higher-volume production.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out welding and steel fabrication work to a high standard.
• Work on bespoke projects manufactured to customer specifications.
• Fabricate a range of steel products and structures.
• Work from drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Complete welding and fabrication work within required timescales.
• Contribute to a variety of projects across commercial, industrial and agricultural sectors.
• Use a range of fabrication equipment and machinery as required.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality.
• Work safely and effectively as part of an experienced fabrication team.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in steel fabrication and welding.
• Strong welding and fabrication skills.
• Ability to work accurately from drawings and specifications.
• Good attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience working on bespoke or varied fabrication projects would be beneficial.
• A reliable and professional approach to work.
