PRODUCTION OPERATIVE

Newtown, Powys | Full Time | £13.45 – £14.14 per hour

12-hour shifts on a rotating Pitman shift pattern, Monday to Sunday. Working hours are 6:00am – 6:00pm. The shift pattern consists of working Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday one week, followed by Wednesday and Thursday the next week. Two 30-minute breaks per shift (one paid and one unpaid).

Key Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently

• Carry out quality checks on products

• Follow all health and safety procedures

• Perform cleaning duties and basic machine maintenance

• Accurately record production data

• Work as part of a team to meet production targets

The basic hourly rate is £13.45 per hour. Upon successfully completing the Pitman shift pattern, an additional £0.69 per hour is paid, increasing the hourly rate to £14.14 per hour.
