Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 16:30
Pay: £13.00 – £13.50 per hour (depending on experience)
Contract: Temporary to Permanent opportunity

A local manufacturing business in Marton is looking to recruit an experienced Panel Maker to join its growing production team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in timber frame manufacturing, panel making, carpentry or a similar production environment who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in producing high-quality products.

Working as part of a busy and supportive team, you will play an important role in the manufacturing process, helping to produce timber frame panels to a high standard while ensuring production targets, quality expectations and health and safety procedures are consistently met. This role offers the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Manufacture high-quality timber frame panels to specification.
• Read and accurately interpret production drawings and work instructions.
• Safely operate a range of hand and power tools.
• Assemble components efficiently while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
• Work closely with colleagues to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
• Carry out work in line with health and safety procedures.
• Keep your work area clean, organised and safe at all times.
• Report any issues with materials, equipment or production to the appropriate team members.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in timber frame manufacturing, panel making, carpentry or a similar manufacturing environment.
• Confidence using a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• The ability to read and follow technical drawings or production plans.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
• A reliable, hardworking attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• A proactive approach to work and a willingness to support colleagues when required.
