OUTDOOR NURSERY WORKER
Outskirts of Welshpool | Full Time | £13.00 per hour
Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 5:00pm
Overtime available at time and a half
Role Overview
A local business on the outskirts of Welshpool is looking to recruit a hardworking Outdoor Nursery Worker to join its busy team. This is a physically demanding, hands-on role working outdoors in all weather conditions, assisting with the handling and movement of trees and plants while supporting the day-to-day operations of the nursery.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general outdoor nursery duties
- Load and unload trees and plants
- Undertake heavy lifting as part of daily tasks
- Support the maintenance and organisation of the nursery
- Work effectively as part of a team
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
Skills & Experience
- Physically fit and comfortable with heavy manual work
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Good team player with a positive attitude
- Full UK driving licence essential due to the location of the site
